The Twin Wolves
Mateus | Traditional Miqo'te Clan | Keeper of the Moon
About
Born in the Age of Endless Frost, the great ancestors of the Twin Wolves miqo'te braved the long winter to establish a home within the dense forests of Dravania. These bold miqo'te left their mark upon the land before disappearing at the hands of tragedy, thus bestowing a legacy of ages upon their spiritual successors. The territorial region they call home, known simply as The Wild Woods, is a world filled with mystery, danger, and reward for those who would prove their worth to the untamed frontier, and to those who guard it with ferocity.
The Twin Wolves are a traditional miqo'te clan based in Keeper of the Moon culture, with sprinkles of regional flair. They reside within their ancestral territory, honoring the hunt, and keeping to the faith of the wilds - a nature-based pantheon developed in conjunction with the traditional Twelve. After the fall of their predecessors, those individuals who would call themselves the Twin Wolves came together to rebuild their community and draw it out of the ashes of plague and war. Though suspicious and aloof, they've formed a hospitable culture that is eager to connect with the outside world, and equally as eager to share their proud cultural identity as representatives of the north.

We are a fledgling, Rank 10 Free Company with a well-positioned mansion OOCly based in the Goblet, ICly based in the Dravanian wilderness. Focused upon tribal, spiritual, and natural / drudic roleplay themes, we are striving to create a wholesome community to share with interested parties. Our roleplay is lore-friendly, but equally open-minded. As the saying goes: bend, don't break. While we are primarily a Keeper of the Moon community, we are welcoming of non-miqo'te races.
Our clan offers focus on narratives intended to inspire character development, with individually tailored story-progression for those who would formally join the Twin Wolves' ranks.
Additional information about the clan can be found here
The council
The Twin Wolves are governed by a matriarch-led council known as the Pack's Heart. It typically consists of a matron, a traditional spiritual guide, and an appointed huntmaster for matters of the hunt and martial importance. However, it is possible for well-respected members of the community to join the Pack's Heart at the clan's democratic behest. These individuals provide leadership for their peers, acting together as the communal authority.

The Matron
Known as The Amber Fawn amongst her peers, the Twin Wolves' Matron, Aubri Lyehga, serves as the pulse of the people. Ferocious and loyal, she earned her seat upon the Pack's Heart through cunning and compassion during the region's wars, ultimately garnering favor amongst her fledgling peers.
Aubri is best described as stubborn and adventurous. While young and inexperienced, she strives to offer guidance and prosperity to the people who have come to rely upon her.
The Seer
Having been crowned the Oracle of the Wild Woods, called the Bone Seer, Eru'a Rainsong serves as a traditional bridge between the spirits of the wilds and those who walk within their woods. He is the last remaining of an archaic bloodline linked to the Twin Wolves' predecessors, blessed with the gift of sight into the past, and glimpses of future potential.
Soft-mannered and humble, Eru'a strives to uphold the legacy of his ancestors, and to best serve the interests of all that he has come to treasure.

The Huntmaster
Regarded as 'the White Wolf', Kyor'li Delisto ascended to the post of Huntmaster during the region's wars. He proved a swift fighter and charismatic leader, garnering renown throughout the wild territories. With decisive action and stoic calculation, he lead the miqo'te of the north to victory in overthrowing their tyrannical rule, and thus became a central figure within their cultural sphere.
Though stern and hardy, Kyor'li holds the best interest of the people and the woods at heart. He maintains responsibility for the hunt, and for protection of the fledgling clan, while offering guidance to his younger, more inexperienced council members.
Out of Character
➳ Respect is our number one priority. We strive to respect our fellow community members, both within and without of our company. Likewise, we expect the same behavior when dealing with us and our players, so that everyone can have a good time.
➳ We are a lore-compliant free company, but not lore-subservient. Our philosophy on lore is best described as bend, don't break. We allow flexibility within reason, and encourage the creativity of our members and those who would interact with our guild.
➳ Our guild focuses heavily on tribal, adventure, and drudic themes. We're fantasy-inclusive, but ask for sensibility. While mysticism is a heavy part of our community, we strive to maintain a balance of mystery and believability.
➳ Though we are a Keeper of the Moon oriented community, we welcome non-miqo'te races into the fold with equal consideration. All interested in our themes are welcome to join or engage us.
➳ Our FC House is an RP setting, and thus we ask that those wishing to visit please contact us before doing so for the first time. This is so we can coordinate a proper introduction for your character and welcome you with open arms and wiggling ears. This is only necessary if you are approaching without the company of a current member.
➳ We are always interested in coordinating with other guilds, be they part of the traditional miqo'te community or not. If you are interested in forming an alliance with the Twin Wolves, please feel free to contact Eru'a Rainsong, Atleion#3129 on Discord, to discuss IC opportunities and details.
